Masters of Deception

I always found it amazing how we would discuss the news on TV and note how unreliable and biased it was (not to mention the endless commercials) but yet, when any of us would later sit down and watch the news, we would believe everything that we are watching!

Then there are those who laugh at the idiocy of this contradiction and then look for the truth elsewhere. But like Yogi, these people think they are smarter then the 'average bear' and look for the 'real story' in the alternative news sites. Yet they believe everything that would read in these alternative news sites in exactly the same way that their mind numbed counterparts believe the boob tube. What it comes down to is for each individual to seek their own facts and put the pieces together themselves.

So it doesn't at all surprise me that there are people who capitalize on the innate tendency of the human mind to believe what is heard without any question since it's so much easier to have our questions answered for us. This applies equally to those of us who stare mindlessly at the boob tube as well as to those who think they are smarter then the former and look for 'alternatives.'

Since money seems to drive our communication networks and its through these networks that we get our information, then we all don't have to be that smart to figure out that we live in a sea of lies and deceit which is promulgated by those who wish to profit from our innate tendency to believe what we hear by using Intellegence and counter Intelligence programs that equally serve this purposes. This is well illustrated in this article that I read on the Signs Of The Times website.

No doubt this deception goes all the way to top. Even
Woodrow Wilson knew of this when he said:

"Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."
